This promo photo for the movie Slave Girl (great title!) is a typical promo photo that involves bondage, in that there's no scene like it in the movie itself. Ya gotta love marketers, bless their little hearts.
I've included this promo photo because it does one thing that slavegirl bondage imagery from the 50s almost never does (and by "almost never" I mean, except for this promo photo, never that I know of) which is directly use sex appeal.
Oh, the slavegirl may be half naked (as seen here) she may be in bondage (as seen here) she may wear barbaric finery (as seen here) and she may be a real hottie (yes, indeedy). But she mostly just stands around looking calm or distressed, but never like she personally is interested in, you know, sex.
Well, take a look at the expression on Yvonne's face in this photo. It's not just a "come hither" look. It's a "Come hither and do me RIGHT NOW!!!" look. And, the look adds, "Don't bother releasing me from this cuff. Just do me as is. It would, er, take too long for you to release the cuff. Yeah, it would take too long."
This ranks a respectable 11 on the index of hottitude, but the scale doesn't take into account the sexy look on deCarlo's face. Taking that into account, it's an easy lebenty-million.
